LTC Expert Publications (LTCEP), the leader in internet marketing for home care and assisted living providers, announces their free Fall Webinar Series for Home Care and Assisted Living/Senior Housing Owners and Marketers.
Marketers and Owners involved in home care and assisted living are always looking for new and innovative ways to get attention from referral sources, seniors, and adult children of aging parents.
Over the last few years our expertise has evolved into being the leaders in internet marketing, but we all know the importance of OFFLINE marketing methods. Offline marketing includes networking, senior fairs, community involvement, increasing interest from referral sources, press release writing and reviews/ testimonials.
This Fall LTCEP will present two webinars per month. One will focus on OFFLINE marketing methods, and the other will focus on ONLINE marketing methods.
“We know that everyone is looking for better ways to get leads. What most professionals don’t recognize is that there is now a direct correlation between online and offline marketing. When marketers understand how both can work together, their leads increase almost immediately.” says Valerie VanBooven
LTCEP will also be showcasing some new lead generating websites along the way with case studies showing how the right website and the right staff involvement can increase the bottom line of any elder care organization in any metro area.

Recently Telegraph posted a SEO Tip List....anyone could have published this, but it does remind us, and especially the newbies what's important in SEO.
Here's an excerpt:
Produce unique, dynamic, and authoritative content.
We can all agree that this is a key to getting a website into a successful position. Beyond avoiding the “spam flags,” quality content also increases social sharing and the likelihood a site will be linked from off-site.
Utilize long-tail keywords.
While it’s absolutely true that long-tail targeting is an important tactic (especially for small- to medium-size businesses), it’s important to keep in mind that organic CTR is also dramatically lower for long-tail terms.
Telegraph touched on some of the key points in the broadest possible sense, but they didn’t go into specifics. Things like how to make content shareable and how to write quality content are far more important than knowing that those are your targets. They also didn’t mention any of the ways that websites so often shoot themselves in the foot – especially in the post-Panda world.
Recently we’ve received tons of inquiries about outsourcing Google Places (local search) work (citations, link building, seo, etc) to our company, what we charge, and what we do for other people’s clients.
Here’s a sample answer that I thought might shed some light on how we work on local search projects for “other” people’s clients.
An internet marketer asked me for a quote. The understanding is that he will be doing the following items:
1. Website
2. SEO
3. Videos
4. Pay Per click
5. Content/blog posts/articles
All he needs from us is the Google Places (local search) work…which is a lot all by itself. So if you are wondering how this might work for your clients, here’s my basic answer: (remember this is an EXAMPLE, not set in stone rates)
TIP: if this is something you want to outsource to another firm, build it in to your upfront pricing so that you aren’t shocked when you get a quote!
1. We like to do an audit for $495 which includes the following:
Using this research, create a plan of action that guarantees success.
2. Once the audit is completed and we have all the data we need, we can give a more accurate custom quote, but just for Google Places and the citation work the fee will be approximately: $995 set up and min $300 per month for the first 3 months.
3. We knock the $495 audit fee off the set up if we are the ones doing the work of course.
4. Which brings it to $500 set up and $300 per month for the first 3 months, after 3 months, the monthly recurring goes down to $200 per month.
Notes: In comparison to Influence Engines we do 1000x’s more work. We like a 3 month minimum contract, because so much work need to be done in the first 90 days. We also work with you to make sure that the website meta data is accurately reflective of what the Google Places data needs to be so that everything works together correctly.
Just food for thought and something for you to model your business pricing after, should you choose to go this route on your own.
