Recently we’ve received tons of inquiries about outsourcing Google Places (local search) work (citations, link building, seo, etc) to our company, what we charge, and what we do for other people’s clients.
Here’s a sample answer that I thought might shed some light on how we work on local search projects for “other” people’s clients.
An internet marketer asked me for a quote. The understanding is that he will be doing the following items:
1. Website
2. SEO
3. Videos
4. Pay Per click
5. Content/blog posts/articles
All he needs from us is the Google Places (local search) work…which is a lot all by itself. So if you are wondering how this might work for your clients, here’s my basic answer: (remember this is an EXAMPLE, not set in stone rates)
TIP: if this is something you want to outsource to another firm, build it in to your upfront pricing so that you aren’t shocked when you get a quote!
- Research Your Market and Keyword Selection.
- Evaluate Your Current Position on Google Places.
- Assess Your Competition’s Position on Google Places.
- Using this research, create a plan of action that guarantees success.
2. Once the audit is completed and we have all the data we need, we can give a more accurate custom quote, but just for Google Places and the citation work the fee will be approximately: $995 set up and min $300 per month for the first 3 months.
3. We knock the $495 audit fee off the set up if we are the ones doing the work of course.
4. Which brings it to $500 set up and $300 per month for the first 3 months, after 3 months, the monthly recurring goes down to $200 per month.
Notes: In comparison to Influence Engines we do 1000x’s more work. We like a 3 month minimum contract, because so much work need to be done in the first 90 days. We also work with you to make sure that the website meta data is accurately reflective of what the Google Places data needs to be so that everything works together correctly.
Just food for thought and something for you to model your business pricing after, should you choose to go this route on your own.
P.S. Yes, we do a damn good job.
